According to a report by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR), of the Rs. 258.43 crore donations received by political parties through seven electoral trusts from corporates and individuals during the financial year 2020-21, 82.05% of the funds (Rs. 212.05 crore) were received only by the BJP.
